After its launch last year, the anime adaptation of the original manga series by author Susuke Toka concluded its run in such an impressive way that fans were eagerly hoping to see it return for a new season. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any word yet on whether or not this will happen, but the anime is preparing for a new comeback special that fans didn't expect to see!

Ranking of Kings anime is back next year
While it seems far from the second season that fans were likely hoping to see, it has been announced that Ousama Ranking will return with a new special next year. Slated to release sometime in 2023, this new special titled Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage will feature a returning cast and cast from the first season of the series.
