“BANANA FISH” Eiji Okumura’s stadium jacket has been commercialized! Anime ED scene goods and more are now available

From the TV anime “BANANA FISH”, new goods such as apparel inspired by the stadium jacket worn by Eiji Okumura have been released. Reservations are currently being accepted on the apparel brand Noitamina Apparel’s mail order site.
“BANANA FISH” is a suspense action film based on the manga serialized in Bessatsu Shojo Comic by Akio Yoshida from 1985 to 1994.
The story depicts Ash Lynx, a boy who leads a New York street gang, and his pursuit of the truth behind the mysterious word “banana fish” along with Eiji Okumura, a Japanese boy who comes to interview him.
The TV anime was broadcast from July to December 2018, with Yuma Uchida playing the role of Ash and Kenji Nojima playing the role of Eiji.
New goods released by Noitamina Apparel, a brand born from Fuji TV’s late-night anime program Noitamina, are inspired by characters and scenes from the TV anime.
The stadium jacket, which is inspired by the stadium blouson worn by Eiji Okumura in the movie, has a professional design with a three-dimensional feel, with sagalas and chain embroidery. Additionally, a photo-style card of Eiji is included as a bonus.
Also available in a set of two are the T-shirts worn by Ash and Eiji. Comes with an original “Vicky & Dick” can badge and a film-style package sticker.
The “Graphic Art Canvas” with a vintage-style finish and the “Film-style Long Hand Towel” with a film-style design are printed with an impressive scene between Ash and Eiji from the ending of the TV anime.
Also, don’t miss the “washed canvas tote bag” which was inspired by the sweatshirt Eiji wears in the movie. The inside has an original name tag with a “nori2-kun” design.
The “cushion cover”, which also has nori2-kun on it, is a goods item with the TV anime logo and the New York cityscape, where the work is set, on the back.
