Introducing a voice body composition meter with lines from the Kids and the lines of “Detective Conan x Tanita” and a pedometer designed by Yamato Dansuke and Furuya Rei!

A collaboration between the TV anime “Detective Conan” and the health company Tanita, a total of 51 items are now available: one type of “voice body composition meter” and 50 types of “pedometers” equipped with a 3D (3-axis acceleration) sensor. This film is in conjunction with the release of the latest movie, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback), and is now accepting pre-orders as a made-to-order product at the Tanita Online Shop.

Detective Conan is a TV anime based on a manga by Aoyama Gosho, which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994. The total number of copies of the book has sold over 270 million worldwide, and has been loved by many fans for over 30 years. The cumulative number of performers for the movie series has exceeded 100 million, and is gaining popularity worldwide, with the film being released not only in Japan but also in more than 20 countries and regions.

This product, which is a collaboration with Tanita, was planned in conjunction with the release of the latest movie, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage. There are 51 items available: one type of “voice body composition meter” in which three characters, Edogawa Conan, Mouri Ran, and Kaito Kid, are navigated by audio, and 50 types of “pedometers” equipped with a 3D (3-axis acceleration) sensor designed with the characters that appear in this work.

The highlight of the “Voice Body Composition Scale” is that it includes newly recorded lines for this product. The three members, Edogawa Conan (CV: Takayama Minami), Mouri Ran (CV: Yamazaki Kazuna), and Kaito Kid (CV: Yamaguchi Kahei), will navigate the initial settings, measurement procedures, measurement results, and more using the same audio as the anime.

The numbers are fun to support daily health with original messages based on measurement results, such as “Huh? The numbers are low” (Edogawa Conan), “Are you trying a little too hard? Let’s go and eat delicious meals!” (Mouri Ran), and “That’s a great number, it seems to be getting more appealing…” (Kaito Kid). The main body is an original design inspired by Edogawa Conan, and the electrodes where you can place your feet on are decorated with glasses that track the perpetrator and a wristwatch-shaped anesthesia gun.

The “pedometer” is equipped with a 3D sensor, and can accurately count your steps even when placed in a bag or pocket, as well as by using the included strap. In addition to familiar characters such as Edogawa Conan, Mouri Ran, and Mouri Kogoro, the lineup includes a total of 50 types, including police-related characters such as Yamato Tsunesuke of the Nagano Prefectural Police who also appears in One-Eyed Afterimage, the Black Organization, FBI agents such as Akai Shuichi, and other co-workers from the police academy, including Furuya Rei. I would definitely like to take a step towards health with my favorite character.

In addition, to commemorate this collaboration, Tanita’s official website is currently running a “Detective Conan Mystery Solving Quiz – A Challenge from the Boys’ Detective Team,” in which Detective Conan Seminar cooperated in creating the issue. You can learn about your body while having fun solving mysteries with the characters. During the period until May 13th, there will be a project where you can win a collaboration product if you solve the mystery and apply, so fans will want to apply.
