It has been announced that Kyoto Animation’s new TV anime, “CITY THE ANIMATION,” will be aired from July 2025. As a result, the first key visual has been released. Additional cast members including Kawahara Yoshihisa, Irino Jiyu, Nanase Ayaka, Tadokoro Azusa, and Wakui Yu have also been announced, and comments have arrived.

CITY, the original work for “CITY THE ANIMATION,” is a girl run comedy by Arawi Keiichi, who is also known for his “everyday life,” serialized in “Morning” from 2016 to 2021. The story depicts the lives of slightly “fun” people living in ordinary “CITY” through a variety of characters, including Nagumo Mitori, a penniless university student, Nikura, Nagumo’s junior who admires photographers, and Izumi Wako, a slightly mysterious girl.

With the announcement of the broadcast date, the first key visual has been released. The characters that appear in this work are packed into the logo of “CITY THE ANIMATION,” and the visual reflects the color of this work, which can be said to be the main characters. Additionally, five new cast members have also been revealed. Kawahara Yoshihisa will be appearing as Makabe Tsuruhisa, Irino Jiyu will be appearing as Makabe Tatsuwaku, Nanase Ayaka will be appearing as Makabe Matsuri, Tadokoro Azusa will be appearing as Ameshi Eri, and Wakui Yu will be appearing as Izumi Riko. I’m thrilled to be able to participate in the film as Etchan.
I’m currently dubbing it rave reviews, but recently I haven’t done much of the usual “separate recordings” and
