“One Piece” and “Jujutsu Kaisen” “real experiences” from USJ arrive in the United States! Limited-time event held in Hollywood

The limited-time event “UNIVERSAL FAN FEST NIGHTS,” based on “ONE PIECE” and “Jujutsu Kaisen,” will mark the first time that a real-life experience from Universal Studios Japan (USJ) will make its first appearance in the United States, finally opening on April 25th, 2025 (LA local time) at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, USA.

“UNIVERSAL FAN FEST NIGHTS” is the first special event to be held at Universal Studios Hollywood on weekend nights until May 18th. This event, which unfolds mainly in the night park, was inspired by the success of Universal Cool Japan, a USJ-born event where you can experience the charm of Japanese entertainment brands in a “super realistic way.”
The event features greetings that allow you to fully enter the world of works with your whole body, experiences of the most popular theaters, shows and attractions from Japan, and original goods and food that were popular at USJ, attracting fans from all over the world to make it a huge hit.

When fans in cosplay costumes from the film gather in an area where pirate flags recreate the world of One Piece, gather in the area where fans of the film are flickering. The area has turned into a village of pirates. Here, the character greeting for the TV anime “One Piece” was held, and five Straw Hat crews, including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji, appeared one after another.

Fans were delighted and extremely excited by the Straw Hat Pirates appearing in front of them. They enjoyed a commemorative photo together, deepening their friendship with the fans they met there, and the excitement was as if the area had begun.

In addition, the first theater show attraction for the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen,” which appeared in 2022 as the first collaboration between USJ and the hugely popular anime that has been a huge hit all over the world, and was well received, making its debut in the United States. This “Jujutsu Kaisen at UNIVERSAL FAN FEST NIGHTS” is a new type of attraction that combines an original story exclusive to USJ with overwhelming power and quality footage, as well as special effects such as vibrations and water splashes.
A super realistic battle between a sorcerer and a cursed spirit unfolds right in front of you, and in an instant you will be drawn into the world of the film. You can experience the super realistic world of Jujutsu Kaisen, which up until now, only available at USJ, in the United States during this period.

USJ has also decided that One Piece Premier Summer 2025, which is popular every year as a limited-time event for One Piece, will be held from July 1st to October 6th. Not only will the powerful battle unfold in front of you, but the live entertainment show “One Piece Premier Show 2025” where you can have a memorable and emotional experience, including Luffy of the Straw Hat Pirates, and other Senryo Clown Buggy, who has become the Four Emperors, will also be participating.
Additionally, the entertainment restaurant “Sanji’s Pirate Restaurant” where you can enjoy Sanji’s special hospitality, and “One Piece Story Ride” will be held, where you can enter the world of stories and experience the “super thrilling super-realistic” with Luffy and Usopp.

And, “Universal Cool Japan,” which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, brings you a special experience that allows you to enter the heart of the “world of all kinds of works” of Japanese entertainment throughout the year, bringing you a special experience that allows you to experience the “super shock and super realistic”. Currently, the first participatory real mystery show, “The Masquerade Series: Targeted Masquerade” by Higashino Keigo, and “Detective Conan World,” which will take on the mystery that delves into the door with Conan and the others, are currently being held, and both will be available until June 30th.

In the future, we will be releasing details of the attraction for “The Apothecary’s Monologue,” which was recently announced to be a collaboration with the park, and information on the first VR coaster “SPY x FAMILY,” the first VR coaster in two years since its first collaboration with the park.
