“PSYCHO-PASS PROVIDENCE the Movie” collaborates with KARATZ Gem Magazine, one of Japan’s largest gem specialist information media. Full-scale coins have been released and are being sold on orders at the online store “Karatz STORE.”
“PSYCHO-PASS” is an original anime set in a near-future society that quantifies and manages human psychological states, and depicts the police organization that is questioned for justice.
The first season began airing in 2012, with the second season being launched in 2014 and the third season being launched in 2019. In 2015, the first theatrical version of the series was released, and in 2019, the theatrical trilogy was released in a row.
In 2020, the final episode of the third season of the TV anime was also released in theaters and was simultaneously distributed both domestically and internationally. “PSYCHO-PASS Movie: PROVIDENCE” became the culmination of this work.
The coins to be released this time are special editions that are meticulously engraved with the standing images of Kogami Shinya and Ginoza Nobumoto, who appear in the PSYCHO-PASS Movie. Each individual ID, name and date of birth are assigned to the border.
On the back, Kogami is engraved with the marks of each affiliation, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Action Division and Ginoza is engraved with the Criminal Division of the Public Safety Bureau.
