Merchandise using character illustrations from the TV anime “Magical Knight Rae Earth” has been released. Pre-orders are available through the online shopping site “AMNIBUS.”
“Magical Knight Ray Earth” is a story of adventure in another world brought to you by CLAMP, known for its Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHOLiC, and Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. At Tokyo Tower, they suddenly come to visit the social studies field, and Shido Hikari, Ryusaikai, and Hououji Temple styles are suddenly invited by Princess Emero from another world, Cefiro. This story depicts the fate of three girls who become legendary “Magic Knights” in order to save the captive princess.
It was serialized in Kodansha’s shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi from 1993 to 1995, and became a huge hit when it was produced by Tokyo Movie (now Toms Entertainment) and was made into a TV anime from 1994 to 1995. Tamura Naomi’s theme song, “Yuzunari Wish,” has sold over 1 million copies. As of 2024, the TV anime will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the start of broadcasting, and a new anime adaptation project has been announced.
The merchandise to be released is made with anime illustrations from 1994. The “Trading Acrylic Magnet”, “Trading Mini Color Paper”, and “Trading Glitter Can Badge” feature not only light, sea and wind, but also impressive scenes and expressions of Mocona, Clef, Presea, Ferio, Emerord, Zagato, Alcione, Ascott, Caldina, LaFarga and Innova.
