New releases from the apparel shop “STRICT-G” that incorporates the worldview of the popular anime “Gundam” include fans from the pavilion “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” of the 2025 Japan International Expo (Kansai Expo, Osaka).
“GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” is a pavilion that will be exhibited at the EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai Expo (2025 Japan International Expo) to be held in Yumeshima, Osaka City for 184 days from April 13th to October 13th, 2025. The Gundam series depicts “living in space” and “science and technology that have not yet been realized” as possibilities for a new future, and depicts them through completely new, realistic images and pavilion spaces from phases 0 to 7.
Visitors will be able to experience traveling from the Yumeshima Terminal in Yumeshima, Osaka to the space station “Starja Blow” by orbital elevator, within the setting of the new “Universal Century.” The approximately 17m-sized life-sized Gundam statue on display outdoors is a new image that reaches out to the universe and the future.
The goods that will be sold at the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION” and will be released at the STRICT-G as well as a mini pouch and a fan.
The mini pouches come in two types: Halo’s “Eeks” and “Pau” that appear in the video world that can be experienced within “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION”. The fans will be available in two motifs: the RX-78F00/E Gundam and the MSN-X17 Zion Type MA, which also appear in the visual world that can be experienced within the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION”, and the one using teaser visuals.
The fan is a special item that combines tradition and innovation, thanks to a collaboration with Nishikawa Shoroku Shoten, an Omi merchant’s fan brand that has been around since 1585.
Two types of mini pouches will be on sale from Saturday, May 10th, 2025, and two types of fans will be on sale from Saturday, May 24th, 2025.
