Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi and others collaborate with Sanrio Characters and Rice Craftsman Mochikichi for the first time. A special can with three designs of three, including original stickers and sweets “Mochi no Omatsurikomachi”, will be sold in limited quantities from March 18, 2025 at Mochiyoshi directly operated stores, mail order, and Mochiyoshi Net Main Store.
Sanrio Characters, a nationally popular Sanrio Character Awards, which also ranks high in the annual popularity poll event “Sanrio Character Awards,” with Hello Kitty, My Melody and Kuromi, are collaborating for the first time with Mochikichi, which marks its 96th anniversary this year. All of the rice used in rice crackers are domestic rice, and this is also widely popular as a delicious Mochiyoshi brand.
In addition to Hello Kitty, which surpassed its 50th anniversary in 2024, a special can designed three characters: My Melody, which marked its 50th anniversary in 2025, which was the “matching” anniversary year, has been released.
The dish is packed with salad and plum-rice flavors from Mochiyoshi’s signature rice cracker, “Mochi no Omatsurikomachi.” Additionally, each can contains six original stickers randomly.
Three types can be purchased individually, and a complete set of three cans is also available in specially wrapped items.
