The TV series for the latest Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX, will be broadcast on 30 Nippon TV stations every Tuesday from 11:29pm starting April 8, 2025. The key visual and “TV Series Promotion Reel” have been released. The ending theme has also been decided to be “I don’t care what will happen now.” by Hoshigai Suisei.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX is a new Gundam series that is the first collaboration between Studio Color, which is the creator of the Evangelion series, and Sunrise (a work brand of Bandai Namco Filmworks), which is the creator of the Gundam series.
The series will be delivered by a lavish staff member, including the “Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition” series, including the 2021 release of “Shin Evangelion: The Movie,” and the series will be composed by Enokido Yoji and mechanical designs by Yamashita Ikuto.
The story begins with Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl who lives peacefully in a space colony, and is caught up in an illegal mobile suit duel, Clan Battle after meeting a war refugee girl named Nyaan.
Amate, who calls herself her entry name “Machu”, drives GQuuuuuX and throws herself into the days of fierce battles. Around the same time, the unknown mobile suit “Gundam” that was being chased by both the Space Force and the police, and the pilot, Shuji, appear in front of her. The world was about to enter a new era… and it unfolds. Ahead of the TV series’ broadcast, the theatrical advance version of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, which has some episodes reconstructed for theater screening, is currently on screen.
The key visual has been released from the TV series, featuring the main character of this film, Amate Yuzuriha (Machu), the AI robot Haro, and the mysterious latest mobile suit GQuuuuuX.
The ending theme for the TV series is Hoshimachi Suisei, which is the insert song for the advance movie Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, and has been decided to be “I don’t care what happens now.” Prior to the broadcast, the TV Series Promotion Reel was also unveiled on Gundam’s official YouTube channel, Gundam Channel. TV broadcasts will finally begin on April 8th, and we will continue to keep an eye on the future developments of this film.
