To commemorate the release of the new smartphone battle RPG Mononogatari: Another World, all episodes of the anime Mononogatari will be streamed for free on ABEMA from May 9th, 2025. A simultaneous viewing project by VTuber Otonose Kanade will also be held.
“Mononogatari” is a manga series that Onigunsou serialized in “Ultra Jump” until 2023. The setting is a world where the “Tsukumogami” is a utensil that has a heart as soon as you get older, and the “Staffing Eye” is a living thing that is given power from the “Staffing Eye” to talk to the Tsukumogami and return to the present age. The story begins with the story of Shuki Heima, the next head of the Ki family of the three great people of the Shigeki family, whose precious humanity was taken away by the Tsukumogami, and Nagatsuki Botan, the head of the Nagatsuki family, who lives together with the six Tsukumogami family, and living under one roof.
It was also made into a TV anime, with the first chapter broadcasting from January 2023 and the second chapter broadcasting from July of the same year. Mononogatari: The Otherworld’s Coach is the first smartphone game in Mononogatari, and in addition to relive the original scenario in the game, it also features an original character called “Cho”, designed by the original author, Onigunsou.
To commemorate the release of Mononogatari: The Otherworld, ABEMA has decided to stream all episodes of the anime Mononogatari for free.
Chapters 1 (Episodes 1 to 12) and Chapters 1 (Episodes 13 to 24) will be streamed all at once for two days starting at 8:00 p.m. on May 9th, 2025. Even after the streaming ends, you can watch all episodes for free for a week.
It has also been decided that a simultaneous viewing project of the first episode of the anime will be held by Otonose Kanade, a VTuber affiliated with hololive DEV_IS. This will also be held from 8pm on May 9th, so you can enjoy it together with all the broadcasts on ABEMA. In addition, each e-store will be holding a free preview of the original comics. It will be held at various e-stores, including “Young Jump!” and “Comic Seymour.”
Take this opportunity to enjoy the anime and original manga of Mononogatari and prepare for the release of Mononogatari: Another World.
