“Detective Conan” Yamato Dansuke, Morobushi Takaaki, Amuro Toru and others play with cats♪ There’s also a cool series! New merchandise released

New merchandise from the TV anime “Detective Conan” has been released using illustrations from the original Content Seed “PALE TONE series” and “Deformed Cat Series.” Pre-orders are currently being accepted through the online shopping site THE Chara.

Detective Conan, a mystery manga that Aoyama Gosho has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 1994, depicts high school detective Kudo Shinichi, who has been turned into a child by a mysterious black organization, taking on a difficult case as “Edogawa Conan.” Volume 107 of the book was released in April 2025.

The TV anime began airing in January 1996 and reached 1,000 episodes in March 2021. In 2025, the movie “Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback)” will be released on April 18th. The story is set in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture, with Mori Kogoro and Yamato Dansuke as key figures. Within the 24 days of its release, the audience attracted 7.86 million people and box office revenue exceeded 11.3 billion yen. The series has reached a 10 billion yen mark at the fastest ever in the series, and is still making a great advance.

In addition to Edogawa Conan, Mouri Ran, Mouri Kogoro, Haibara Ai, Yamato Dansuke, Morufushi Takaaki, Uehara Yui, Amuro Toru, and Kazami Yuya, who were active in “One-Eyed Afterimage,” Hime Eri and Kuroda Bei have appeared as items from the “PALE TONE Series” and “Deformed Cat Series.”

The “PALE TONE series” is one of the design series developed by Content Seed, which plans and sells character goods, and features pale colors and watercolor-style expressions, and the “Deformed Cat Series” depicting popular characters as a cat image.

This time, the “PALE TONE series” features “can badges,” “acrylic figures,” and “postcard sets.” The “Deformed Cat Series” includes “Cand Badges,” “Acrylic Stands,” “Acrylic Hair Clips,” and “Flake Seals.”

In particular, the acrylic hair clip is cat-shaped, so it’s even more cute. It’s also worth noting that it will be released in a set of two pairs: Edogawa Conan & Haibara Ai, Kudo Shinichi & Mouri Ran, Mouri Kogoro & Hie Eri, Amuro Toru & Kazami Yuya, Yamato Dansuke & Uehara Yui, Morofushi Takaaki & Kuroda Bei.

Pre-orders for these products are now being accepted until 11:59pm on June 5th, 2025. Shipping is scheduled for late August.
