Detective Conan has released merchandise such as a mobile battery and a tabletop humidifier, featuring illustrations inspired by Edogawa Conan, Mouri Ran, Mouri Kogoro, Amuro Toru, Yamato Dansuke, and Morofushi Takaaki. Pre-orders are now being accepted at AMNIBUS, which sells original anime and manga goods.
Detective Conan, which has a 107 volume comic by the original author Aoyama Gosho, has sold over 270 million copies worldwide, and the TV anime series has also aired more than 1,100 times, so its momentum remains unavoidable.
The movie version, the 27th installment of Detective Conan: The 100 Million Dollar Michishirube, released in 2024, marking its 30th anniversary, has surpassed box office revenue of 15.8 billion yen, reaching an unprecedented record of breaking the highest box office gross in the series’ history. The latest release, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback of Sekicancer), depicts a story set in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture, with Mori Kogoro and Yamato Dansuke as key figures.
