The latest theatrical release in the anime series “Uta no Prince-sama♪ Maji LOVE” will be released on May 9, 2025. The opening MOVIE has been unveiled. It has also been decided that a theatre stage greeting will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo on May 25th and May 31st.
Since releasing the first game in 2010, Uta no Prince-sama is a content aimed at women that has expanded into media mixes, including CDs and anime.
The story unfolds between unique characters, centered around boys aiming to become idols, along with the fascinating music created by Elements Garden.
The “Uta no Prince-sama♪ Maji LOVE” series, based on this, is a TV anime that has been broadcast from 4th seasons from 2011 to 2016. The number of related CDs sold exceeded 5 million, and the movie version has also been released since 2019. The previous film, Uta no Prince-sama the Movie, Seriously LOVE Starlish Tours, was a huge hit, attracting 1.5 million people and exceeding 2.4 billion yen in box office revenue.
“Uta no Prince-sama the Movie♪ TABOO NIGHT XXXX” is a live performance by “QUARTET NIGHT”, consisting of four members of the Shining Agency, consisting of the highly popular senior idol group that appear in this film, and the four members of the Shining Agency: Kotobuki Reiji, Kurosaki Ranmaru, Mikaze Ai, and Camus. This is the latest film in the theater, with live animation and completely original work.
This work has recently unveiled OPENING MOVIE, which is where expectations are high for QUARTET NIGHT’s new arrival (utopia). Furthermore, to commemorate the release, it has been decided that a theatre stage greeting will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo on May 25th and May 31st.
A total of two stage greetings will be held each day, with Aoi Shota (as Mikaze Ai) and Maeno Tomoaki (as Camus) scheduled to take the stage on May 25th, and Morikubo Shotaro (as Juji Reiji) and Suzuki Tatsuhisa (as Kurosaki Ranmaru) respectively on May 31st. Tickets are available at Lawson Ticket. Entry for the lottery will begin at 12:00 on April 23rd, so please check the official website for details.
The performances of each stage greeting will be broadcast live viewing at 134 theaters across the country, so fans from far away should definitely come visit.
