A “Aquarius” collaboration commercial featuring Hinata Shoyo has been released! Production IG produces new anime

The newly produced anime commercial “You’re Fully Good Face” by Production IG, a collaboration between the anime “Haikyu!!” and Coca-Cola Japan’s sports drink “Aquarius,” began broadcasting on April 21, 2025. In addition, outdoor and traffic advertising for this collaboration has also begun nationwide, including MIYASHITA PARK (Shibuya Ward Miyashita Park).

“Haikyu!!” is a masterpiece of sports manga by Furudate Haruichi, whose passionate youth drama of high school students who focus on volleyball became popular. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump for eight and a half years from February 2012, and the total number of copies of the comic has sold over 70 million copies. The TV anime series based on this story began in 2014, and was produced and broadcasted up to the fourth season of the series by December 2020, bringing excitement and excitement not only to readers of the original work but also to anime fans both domestically and internationally.

In response to this, “Haikyuu the Movie: The Decisive Battle at the Garbage Disposal,” released in February 2024, depicting the showdown between Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School, a fateful rival, and a passionate drama, marking a huge hit with global box office revenue of over 20 billion yen. It also won the Japan Academy Award for Best Animation, making it a hot topic as the most powerful sports anime.
At the event that marks the finale of the anime’s 10th anniversary project held in March, the long-awaited sequel, “Haikyu!! The Movie: The Little Giant,” which depicts the “little titan” showdown between Karasuno vs Omudai and Hinata vs Seikai, and the production and television broadcast of the special anime “Haikyu!! Where the Beasts Go,” depicting the “little titan” between Okuya Gakuen High School and Kakesaka High School, has been accelerating even further.

This commercial, “You’re Full of You, I Have a Good Face,” is a collaboration between this work and “Aquarius,” consisting of a newly produced anime by Production IG. The story follows the main character, the first-year student Hinata Shoyo, who is in the Karasuno High School Ball Exhaust Club, in a sweaty manner with his teammates Kageyama Tomoo, Tsukishima Hotaru, Yamaguchi Tada, and others, and hydrates with Aquarius during the break. The passionate and refreshing finish is impressive, with the sight of him continuing to challenge each ball with all his might and his joy when the spikes are decided.

Also starting today, outdoor and traffic advertising has begun nationwide in conjunction with this collaboration, including MIYASHITA PARK (Shibuya Ward Miyashita Park), which will be displayed until the 27th. In addition, it has been decided that the Aquarius booth will be exhibited at the Haikyu!! FAN PARK to be held at Makuhari Messe on June 7th and 8th.
